The 5/16â wide #304 stainless steel band fits beer, vacuum and fuel hoses from 1/4" - 5/8â (6 - 16 mm) in diameter and can be used in many applications such as automotive, industrial, mechanical, agricultural, boat/marine, recreational vehicles, and construction. The clamp features a 1/4â (6 mm) hex head, Phillips / Slot screwdriver tensioner-style stainless steel band. The clamp, band, screw mechanism, and housing are all made from #304 stainless steel.
These are the perfect repair accessory for damaged, cracked, frayed or worn-out rubber, plastic, vinyl, or silicone motorcycle, diesel, go cart, fuel injection, systems and when replacing the fuel lines and fuel hoses connected to the fuel rails on cars, trucks, or marine engines with cylinder mounted fuel injectors. They are easy to use with simple hand tools, no hose clamp tools or hose clamp pliers are necessary.
The gear and screw mechanism ensure that the clamp retains the tightness it is set to. These work on many popular size fuel lines (measure carefully) such as ¼â, 3/8â, 5/16â, and 3/8â. Both the front wheel hubs on many 4-wheel drive pickup trucks and the climate control system on most vehicles work on vacuum and depend on clamps for secure vacuum connections.
The clamps meet OEM specifications for connecting the fuel lines or fuel hoses for replacement fuel filters or fuel line check valves on small engines. There are also many lawn and gardening machines such as riding lawn mowers, rototillers, edgers, tractors, and log splitters. Works well on beer lines and kegerator beer and carbon dioxide lines. Not recommended for use on Welding gas hoses.
Includes 6 stainless steel clamps.
These are precision clamps made from #304 stainless steel designed to prevent the hose or tubing from contacting and being damaged by contacting the clampâs screw tightening mechanism. These clamps are size range specific therefore, it is important to carefully measure the outside diameter of the tube or hose before ordering clamps. For example if the clamp is 6-16mm it will make a good connection to a hose that is 8-14 mm diameter. In all cases we refer to the outside diameter of the hose and the inside diameter of the clamp
